2. Lightly butter a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan: set
3. Combine butter and brown sugar in a heavy, medium
saucepan and bring to a boil over medium
4. Stir in 2 cups of pecans.
5. Pour into the prepared pan and bake for 15
6. Remove from oven and sprinkle with the chocolate
chips; when chips have softened, spread
evenly over toffee.
7. Sprinkle remaining ½ cup pecans on top.
8. Let cool completely and break into pieces.
9. Store in airtight container.
