1. Knead all ingredients in a bowl. If the
consistency is too hard, add water, one tbsp at a time, until
soft enough to knead. Do not add too much water.
2. Boil grape leaves until they are soft, but not
tender, usually 1 to 2 minutes.
3. Fold grape leaves around small spoonfuls of meat
mixture, sealing completely.
4. In a large pot melt 4 tbsp butter. Arrange rolled
dolmades on top. Pour 3 1/2 cups of water or
chicken broth over dolmades, cover, and simmer for 2 hours.
